GUWAHATI: The regulation of working in the Gauhati High Court that was imposed on March 24, 2020 has been extended till April 19, 2020 in view of the lockdown issued by the Government of India.
The Registrar General of the Gauhati High Court in an order issued on Thursday said that “the court working was regulated vide order No. 19 dated 24th March, 2020 till 4th April, 2020, in view of the menace of the pandemic COVID-19. However, pursuant to the aforesaid order, the Government of India had declared national lockdown till 14th April, 2020. “In view of the aforesaid circumstances, regulation of the court working as notified vide the aforesaid order No. 19 dated 24th March, 2020 is further extended till 19th April, 2020.”
