Residential training on life skill education completed successfully by Samagra Shiksha Assam

Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA) successfully organized a state-level residential training for the first batch of Master Trainers on life skills education. This training was organized from September 27 to 30.

GUWAHATI: Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA) successfully organized a state-level residential training for the first batch of Master Trainers on life skills education. This training was organized from September 27 to 30. This training was organized as per the requirements of the NEP 2020 to enhance activity-based, experiential learning for adolescent students to enhance their resilience and perform better in school.

SSA collaborated with the Magic Bus India Foundation (MBIF) to conduct this residential training. Planned in four parallel batches, a total of 145 master trainers from across the state have completed their training in this first batch. After completion of this training, one nodal teacher from every upper primary, secondary, and higher secondary school will be trained by these master trainers for the implementation of an activity-based life skills curriculum in the state.

SSA in association with SCERT, SEBA, and MBIF, has also developed a state curriculum framework on life skills that will be implemented in all government schools at the upper primary, secondary, and higher secondary levels.
