Rotary Club Dispur felicitates entrepreneurs and startups of the State

GUWAHATI: In a unique initiative to encourage and inspire the COVID warriors and startups, Dispur Rotary Club synchronizing with the visit of the District Governor of Rotary International District 3240 on Sunday offered felicitation to 10 selected entrepreneurs and startups of the State who made a tremendous contribution to society during the recent lockdown period.

The felicitated persons are - Gaurab Medhi and Drishti Medhi of QuickGhy, Mukul Barman and Jintirani Deka of Quickfix, Jehirul Islam CEO of MJI Agarwood Research and Development, Kashmiri Borkakati Nath of KATA Food, Subhalakhsmi Kataki of D JONAKs, Kushal Deka of URBAN Protein, Uttam Teron and Aimoni Tumung of Parijat Academy, Phanindra Pradhan of DK Asomi Artisan, Day Deep Chetia and Upal JB of Let's Learn Together, David Gogoi, Rupam Choudhury and Mousam Talukdar of Zerund Brick.

District Governor Rotary International District 3240 Subhashish Chatterjee and Assistant Governor Abhishek Jitani of Zone VII took part in the club meeting and the open session and offered the felicitation to these 10 entrepreneurs with a letter of citation and a phulam bihuwan. The Dispur Rotary Club also gifted a sophisticated sanitizer machine to Parijat Academy. In the function chaired by the President of Dispur Rotary Club Koushik Dutta, its secretary Mukunda Pujari offered a slide projector show to display the achievements of the Club in the service of the people. Former ADGP Pallab Kumar Bhattacharyya and Disaster Chair of Rotary International Prafulla Kumar Saikia also attended the function.
