GUWAHATI: General Manager of NF Railway Sanjive Roy released a handbook on Railway Safety inspection Guidelines, 2019 at Maligaon Headquarter on May 6, 2019. The Handbook was prepared by NF Railway Safety Organization under the guidance of Pradip Kumar Hira, Deputy Chief Safety Officer/ Mechanical/ NF Railway.
After releasing the book a Video Conference on Railway Safety was also held where Radhe Raman, Additional General Manager, MK Agarwal, Principal Chief Safety Officer, other departmental Heads of NFR Headquarter, all Divisional Railway Managers of Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding and Tinsukia and the safety officials were present. General Manager Sanjive Roy gave various valuable suggestions related to safety measures to the Divisional Railway Managers and other officers and staff during the conference. Many high level Railway safety issues were also discussed for smooth movement of train in NFR system, a press release stated.
