GUWAHATI: State Bank of India is organizing a 2-day car and home loan mela on 12.12.2020 and 13.12.2020 (Saturday & Sunday) at Ganesh Mandir Indoor Stadium Ground, GS Road, Khanapara, Guwahati.
Altogether 15 builders and 17 car dealers of Guwahati are participating in the 2-day event. The Mela was inaugurated by R S Ramesh, Chief General Manager of SBI North Eastern Circle and attended by Jayateertha V Jainapur General Manager (NW-II); Suranjana Dutta, General Manager (NW I); Pranab Kumar Sarma, president AREIDA; and other senior officials of the Bank. The event has been organized by the Bank to bring the major car dealers and builders under one roof for the benefit of citizens of Guwahati. Stalls have been set up for the car dealers and builders to cater to the needs of visitors. The car dealers will showcase their latest models and for financing SBI will assist the prospective buyers. Major builders of Guwahati will be present during the event to offer their existing and new projects. On the spot in-principle sanction letter will be issued to all the eligible buyers. In his inaugural speech Ramesh, CGM, SBI mentioned that it is incumbent and imperative for State bank of India to spur the economy and be part of the economic revival process. As part of the endeavor SBI has taken the initiative to bring together the car dealers and builders to showcase their upcoming projects and project under construction for the citizens of Guwahati. He also requested all the citizens to use all channels of SBI, such as Branch Channel, Mobile Banking/Internet Banking Channel to fulfill their Banking needs.
Sarma, president AREIDA, thanked SBI for taking the timely initiative in bringing together the car dealers & builders of Guwahati in one place and facilitating the citizens of Guwahati to fulfill their dream of buying a Car/Home. A few sanction letters of Car and Home loans were distributed in the meeting, a press release said.
