Second anniversary celebrated by GIAL at LGBIA, Guwahati

Guwahati International Airport Limited (GIAL) has successfully completed two years of operations, management, and development at LGBIA, Guwahati.

 GUWAHATI: Guwahati International Airport Limited (GIAL) has successfully completed two years of its 50-year concession period of operations, management, and development at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA), Guwahati. AAI handed over the airport to GIAL, a company of Adani Airports, on October 8, 2021. The celebration was done at the present terminal building amongst the staff and officers of GIAL and other stakeholders of the airport. Many senior officers of GIAL and Senior Commandant of CISF L.M. Thakur spoke on the occasion and relived the glorious journey together. During this period, GIAL has captured the expectations of airports and developed a vision with a robust master plan for the entire 50-year period. The vision includes turning the airport into a regional hub, enabling its citizens to reach any major airport in the country and come back home within 24 hours. In the international sector, GIAL's vision is to make the LGBIA a regional hub for Southeast Asia stated a press release.
