Shradhanjali ceremony organized for anti-CAA 'martyrs' in Guwahati

A tribute ceremony for the five ‘martyrs’ of the anti-CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) agitation was organized here at Dighalipukhuri on Sunday.

GUWAHATI: A tribute ceremony for the five 'martyrs' of the anti-CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) agitation was organized here at Dighalipukhuri on Sunday.

The programme was organized by Guwahati Mahanagar Samiti under the banner of Bir Lachit Sena, Assam.

Addressing the media persons, the organizer stated that it is their ethical duty to pay tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the movement.

The five 'martyrs' are - Sam Steford, Dipanjal Nath, Ishwar Nayak, Dwijen Pangin and Abdul Alim.
