GUWAHATI: A missing case of two siblings was reported in Guwahati on Friday. The sister-brother duo has been identified as Sony Samanta(16) and Prince Samanta (9) alias Gollu. They have been missing from Bakrapara near Manasha Mandir, in Basitha area. A family member has lodged a FIR at Basistha police station.
According to sources, their father is a truck driver. After their father’s second marriage, he married his sister-in law. The father of the children stays with his second wife (who is the younger sister of the first wife.) Their biological mother went to Manipur. Currently, their biological mother stays in Manipur. The children were staying with their stepmother. In this connection, the police have started investigating the matter.
