GUWAHATI: State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA) Vice Chairman Ramen Deka inaugurated Assam Japan Gateway 2023, which was held in Guwahati on Saturday. The programme is organized by Mirai Japanese Learning Centre, Guwahati, and supported by State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA), the Government of Assam, Kotoba Business Consulting Pvt. Limited (KBC), HIJD Inc., and Indobox Inc.

Inaugurating the Assam Japan Gateway 2023, Vice-Chairman Ramen Deka said that the event is a step to strengthen the relationship between Assam and Japan. He spoke at length on the prospect of providing a platform for Assamese and Japanese people for future collaboration, partnerships, and economic ties between the two, paving the way for lasting connections and growth.

The primary focus and key objectives of the Assam Japan Gateway 2023 are mutual development for economic growth, cultural harmony, and socio-economic bonding. The highlight of the two-day event will be cultural fusion, exploring business opportunities, panel discussions, a buyer-seller meet, product launching and exhibition, gastronomic delights, workshops and demonstrations, and tourism showcases, stated a press release.
