GUWAHATI: A man has reached out to Jalukbari Police to claim the body of a headless woman which was found at the Ambubachi Mela last year. According to the man, who is a resident of West Bengal, the body belonged to his mother, Shanti Shaw. The police conducted DNA tests of the person and have sent the samples to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL). Further investigation is on.
