GUWAHATI: Here's a good news for the government employees at the fag end of 2021. They will enjoy 'Special Casual Leave' for two days in the new year.
The GAD (General Administration Department), in a notification, says that the state government employees will avail the 'Special Casual Leave' on January 6 and 7, 2022. Mentionably, January 8 (Second Saturday) and January 9 (Sunday) are normal holidays.
The employees availing this facility will enjoy a four-day holiday at a stretch.
The notification also says, "These two 'Special Casual Leaves' allows the government employees to spend their time with their living parents and parents in law."
It added, " The ministers may also take the advantage of this break."
