GUWAHATI: The spot admissions for the admissions of Undergraduate (UG) programme will continue until July 25. After spot admissions are over, admitted students will not get the chance to cancel their admissions thereafter.
The Director of Higher Education has issued a fresh notice for the admission of UG programmes. The criteria that students must follow while seeking admission are stated as follows: Students should not just register but also complete their profiles and submit applications on the Assam Higher Education Admission Portal to be eligible for spot admissions. Students can provide up to 10 preferences for programmes either in the same college or multiple colleges. They are advised to give the maximum number of preferences in the application form. Seats will be allotted during spot admissions, subject to department-wise vacancies in colleges and universities.
