State Bank of India celebrates World Environment Day in Guwahati

The State Bank of India (SBI) celebrated World Environment Day at its Local Head Office in Guwahati.

GUWAHATI: The State Bank of India (SBI) celebrated World Environment Day at its Local Head Office in Guwahati. On the occasion, RS Ramesh, Chief General Manager, SBI NE Circle planted a sapling at the office premises. Following COVID-19 protocols, only a few staff members attended the function which includes Suranjana Dutta, GM-(NW-I), LunkimThangboi, GM-(NW-II) and LM Mishra, DGM &CDO. A sustainability pledge was also taken by all the staff members as part of the celebration. This year SBI NE Circle is committed to planting 15,000 tree saplings covering all the States of the North East, stated a release.
