Assam: State BJP district committees meet held in Guwahati

The district-level committees of the 39 organisational districts of the BJP had their executive committee meetings today when they decided the ways and means to hold booth-level meetings of the party as directed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in his recent visit to the State.

GUWAHATI: The district-level committees of the 39 organizational districts of the BJP had their executive committee meetings today when they decided the ways and means to hold booth-level meetings of the party as directed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in his recent visit to the State.

Talking to The Sentinel, BJP Assam Pradesh spokesperson Subhas Dutta said, "Most of the districts had their executive meetings today. The rest will hold such meetings tomorrow. In accordance with the decisions taken at the meetings today, each booth-level committee of the party will hold its meeting on January 3, 2021, to be followed by mandal committee executive meetings on January 4 and 5, 2021. The party has 399 mandal committees in the State. From January 5-11, party leaders will go the booths and carry out wall postering and other campaign works, besides holding meetings.
