GUWAHATI: Based on key inputs, Guwahati Police carried out a raid in Jalukbari to apprehend one accused, along with the recovery of several mobile phone parts. The operation was carried out under the leadership of the Jalukbari Outpost at a rented accommodation in the Adil Shah Gali at Katiya Dalang of Jalukbari. They were able to recover broken mobile phones as well as parts of phones. It was mentioned that the room was taken on rent by one Ahuj Ali of Murshidabad in West Bengal, and he used to receive phones and other stolen items at the location and use the room for disintegrating them.
The team was able to apprehend Ahuj Ali, and legal proceedings have been initiated against him.
