GUWAHATI: The members of the Asom Rajyik Prathamik Shikshak Sanmilani (ARPSS) are set to get into a huddle at Lokhara here on Friday to take a pledge to stay away from all financial transactions and information dissemination in support of their demand for the creation of headmasters' posts and repayment of the reduced grade pay from graduate teachers. From there the teachers will gherao the Chief Minister's residence, said Sanmilani's secretary general Ratul Chandra Goswami.
Addressing the media here on Thursday, Goswami said that the representatives of various political and apolitical organizations of the State will also take part in the protest. "We're compelled to gherao the Chief Minister's residence as his directive has been kept in the cold storage by the Education department for more than one year," he said.
