GUWAHATI: The Rajyapuraskar Testing Camp for Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Rangers of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Assam, was held at the Gauhati Commerce College from July 19 to July 23.
According to a press release, this is the highest test for Scouts and Guides at the State level. After qualifying for Rajyapuraskar, the Scouts and Guides are eligible to get a certificate from the Governor of the State. Due to the Covid situation, the test could not be held in the last two years. This year, there was an overwhelming response for the test. There were 69 Guides, 81 Scouts, 9 Rovers and 7 Rangers. There was a team of 14 Examiners to conduct the course.
