GUWAHATI: The Gorchuk Police on the wee hours of Sunday arrested a person from Bihar in connection to a theft case.
The accused has been identified as Ram Barman Singh (41). He allegedly stole mobile phone and other items from a vehicle parked at Lokhra on March 4. The police have also recovered the stolen items from the accused.
In this connection, a case (149/2021 u/s 379/427) was registered at Gorchuk Police Station. Singh was produced before the Court on Sunday where he was granted judicial custody.
