Thieves nabbed in Guwahati

In less than 24 hours, a team of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Hatigaon Police Station cracked a case of theft and recovered two high-end bicycles worth Rs 2 lakh.

GUWAHATI: In less than 24 hours, a team of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Hatigaon Police Station cracked a case of theft and recovered two high-end bicycles worth Rs 2 lakh.

Two persons, identified as Avtar Singh and Bapukan Ali, have been arrested in this connection, police sources said, adding that legal proceedings have been initiated.
