Three-day annual Janmastami Mahotsava to be held

International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Guwahati is organizing a three-day annual 'Sri Sri Krishna Janmastami Mahotsava 2023' on September 6, 7, and 8 with a programme in the Rukmini Krishna Temple-cum-cultural complex premises at South Sarania, Ulubari.

GUWAHATI: International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Guwahati is organizing a three-day annual 'Sri Sri Krishna Janmastami Mahotsava 2023' on September 6, 7, and 8 with a programme in the Rukmini Krishna Temple-cum-cultural complex premises at South Sarania, Ulubari.

On September 6, the eve of the Sri Krishna Janmastami Mahotsava 2023, there will be Krishna Bhajan-Kirtan and Sandhya Arati in the afternoon. On September 7, the festival will begin with Mangal Arati, to be followed by Akhanda Harinaam Kirtan, Darshan Arati, Mahamantra Chanting Walk, Sandhya Arati, Abhishek by Donors, Maha Abhishek by Pujaris, and Maha Arati with 108 lamps, along with Prasattam distribution to the pilgrims all day long.

Nandotsav, along with 'Srila Prabhupada's Vyas Puja' the appearance day of His Divine Grace Abhaycharanarabinda Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of ISKCON, will be celebrated on the following day, September 8, with glorification of Srila Prabhupad, abhishek of Srila Prabhupada, Sandhya Arati, Srila Prabhupada's Lilamrita Shravan, and Prasadam distribution. Free transportation facilities to and from the temple are also available on the day of Janmastami, September 7, stated a press release.
