Token strike by electricity employees on February 3, 2021 across the country

The Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees Engineers and Pensioners (CCOEEEP) across the country shall resort to token strike on February 3, 2021 against the privatization policy of the Government of India.

GUWAHATI: The Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees Engineers and Pensioners (CCOEEEP) across the country shall resort to token strike on February 3, 2021 against the privatization policy of the Government of India.

In a statement Joint convener of the Committee, Dipak Kumar Saha said, the National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees and Engineers, a broad-based united platform of Federations of Electricity Employees &, Engineers called the token strike/work boycott and already informed the Prime Minister. The CCOEEEP, a joint forum of ASEB's registered Unions & Associations functioning as Assam Branch of NCCOEEE has served strike notice to the management and stated that the employees and engineers shall remain abstain from duty boycotting all normal works. However, considering the inconvenience of the public most essential service is exempted.
