GUWAHATI: The President of India is scheduled to visit Guwahati on April 7, and the traffic department has issued a set of restrictions for the same. The details of the restrictions are as follows. Plying of commercial goods carrying vehicles with 4 wheels and above is restricted on the NH-27 and NH-17 falling under the city from 9 AM to 9 PM on April 7.
Plying of commercial goods carrying vehicles with 3 wheels and above shall be restricted on GS Road, B Barooah Road, BK Kakoty Road, GNB Road, KLB Road, MG Road, AT Road, Taybullah Road and HB Road from 11 AM to 8 PM on April 7.
Vehicles shall not be allowed to enter from the High Court Point towards the Planetarium Point without car passes (Platinum Gold). There will be no entry of vehicles from Planetarium Point towards High Court Point on April 7 from 11 AM to 9 PM.
