GUWAHATI: A flying training for the cadets of 50 Assam Air Squadron NCC was organized at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport in Guwahati on Saturday.

The 20-minute flying training was organized under the supervision of Commanding Officer, 50 Air Squadron NCC Unit Group Captain Robin Vishoyi.

The cadets were imparted basic flying training and given first-hand experience on flying the Microlite aircraft held by the unit.

In spite of the busy schedule in terms of the number of aircraft arriving/departing to/from the civil airport, Guwahati ATC (Air Traffic Control) accommodated all the sorties of the Microlite aircraft and made it possible to achieve the challenging task under the supervision of Captain Robin Vishoyi.

The 50 Air Squadron NCC Unit is planning to impart similar flying training to maximum number of cadets as it is one of the essential components of their training syllabus.
