GUWAHATI: Fatasil Ambari police on Sunday arrested two notorious motorcycle thieves, and retrieved stolen motorcycles from their possession. One of them was picked up from Fatasil, while the other was caught at Boragaon in Guwahati.
According to sources, they were two thieves who used to sneak motorcycles furtively from parking places. The police retrieved three motorcycles from their possession that they had stolen earlier.
The two accused thieves were identified as Kahid Ali, alias Ekra and Rupchand Ali. They were history-sheeters with their names popping up in many previous cases, police sources said.
