Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah to open state BJP office today in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Union Minister of Home Affairs (MHA) Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda will arrive in Guwahati today. Shah will inaugurate the newly constructed State BJP office at Basistha on Saturday.

State BJP president Bhabesh Kalita said that Shah and Nadda would address the BJP workers' conference at Khanapara on Saturday.

Kalita said that several other national leaders of the party would participate in the BJP workers' conference and the inauguration of the party head office. "We hope around 45,000 workers and leaders of the party will remain present at the conference. The workers will be from the 40 organizational districts of the party, booth committees, shakti kendras, and mandal committees. Several national leaders will also interact with the state leaders of the party on various issues," he said.

Ministers, MLAs and senior party are at the helm of affairs for making the workers' conference a success. They invited all BJP workers up to the booth level.
