Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal distributes appointment letters to 287 candidates

Rozgar Mela was held across 45 locations in the country, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributing over 51,000 appointment letters on Monday.

GUWAHATI: Rozgar Mela was held across 45 locations in the country, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributing over 51,000 appointment letters on Monday. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal took part in the Rozgar Mela event organised in Guwahati.

The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways and AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal, handed over appointment letters to the successful candidates at the Rozgar Mela held at the Frontier Headquarters, BSF, in Patgaon, Guwahati. A total of 287 candidates received their appointment letters at the Rozgar Mela held here on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sarbananda Sonowal said, “The speed with which the economy is growing is resulting in growth and the generation of lakhs of jobs for the youth of India. This is evident from the successful organisation of the Rozgar Mela. The government has been able to curate a robust ecosystem of start-ups and entrepreneurship. Today, the youth of the country have become confident as the support provided by the government has enabled them to become competitive on the global stage. This is a wonderful way forward. I call upon the youth to take this opportunity to join the cause of nation-building as India moves ahead towards becoming an Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
