Vyapar bandh against the new amendment of GST on February 26

GUWAHATI: The Kamrup Chamber of Commerce and the Asom Jatiya Parishad have extended their support to the Vyapar bandh on February 26 called by the CAIT (Confederation of All India Traders) against the new amendment of GST (Goods and Services Tax). The Kamrup Chamber of Commerce has requested all trade organizations and chamber of commerce of Assam State to support the bandh.

"We strongly condemn the new amendments that are being made in GST, and urge the government to reconsider their decision," said Kamrup Chamber of Commerce president Mahabir Jain.
