GUWAHATI: It is still uncertain as to whether the last session of the 14th Assam Assembly will be held in the new Assembly House being constructed near the present Assembly Secretariat at Dispur.

The Assembly Secretariat had recently stated that as this will be the last session of the present government, attempts are being made to hold at least one full -day session in the new House. However, sources informed that the sound system is yet to be installed there. The Assembly Secretariat has already informed the Speaker about this.

The three-day session is slated to commence with the Governor's address from February 11. This session will also witness the 'Vote-on-Account Budget' to be placed on the floors of the Assembly by Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
