GUWAHATI: The body of a woman was found at her residence in the Lachit Nagar locality of Guwahati on Monday night. Identified as Bhagyalaxmi Duara, the woman was found hanging inside her room. The incident left the members of the family in complete shock. For some reason, she had locked herself in her room at about 9 PM and later allegedly hung herself.
The police arrived at the incident site on Tuesday morning and sent the body for post-mortem. They have also started an investigation into the matter of the suspected suicide.
