GUWAHATI: Yet another incident of water supply pipe leakage took place in the Geetanagar locality of the city on Friday. The incident led to the wastage of huge amounts of water and caused traffic congestion in the locality.
The incident took place at around 2:30 PM, and technicians reached the location soon afterwards to control the leak, but people have raised questions yet again regarding the regular occurrence of such incidents. It can be noted that a similar incident took place in Hatigarh on Tuesday, which led to the suspension of water supply in the locality until Friday.
