GUWAHATI: A road accident was reported near the Janata Bhawan in the Dispur area on Sunday night, where a youth lost his life. The youth is identified as Sunny Sarma (25) of the Zoo-Tiniali area.
According to police sources, the youth was driving a two-wheeler bearing registration AS 01DG 5390 and was coming from Ganeshguri to Dispur Last Gate, where he rammed his vehicle against a divider. The traffic police admitted the victim to a private hospital and was declared dead. According to sources, the deceased’s family members suspected it to be a murder and as claimed by them the victim had neck and abdomen had injury marks.
