ITANAGAR: Union joint secretary of the consumer affairs department, Vineet Mathur, on Thursday urged the people to avail the facilities provided by the central and state governments for sustainable development. Chairing the final review meeting of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) at Aalo in West Siang district, Mathur, who is also the district in-charge, lauded the district administration for the works under VBSY and Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) 2.0 camp. The work performed by all the line departments in the last two months to achieve saturation of all flagship schemes has been praiseworthy, he said.

Expressing concern over the lack of a market and other facilities for agriculture and horticulture produce in the district, Mathur assured to take up the issue with the centre through the state government. Earlier, West Siang deputy commissioner in-charge Mabi Taipodia Jini and district planning officer Marjum Karga apprised the visiting official of the performances under VBSY and SAD camps in the district.
