GUWAHATI: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Advanced 2023 results were announced by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati today. Students can access the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, to view their results.

According to analysts, the qualifying cut-off is anticipated to be higher this time due to the exam's moderate difficulty level. According to Saurabh Kumar, Chief Academic Officer of Vidyamandir Classes, the unreserved category cut-off mark would range from 49 to 52. "The cut-off marks will be 80% of the general category's cut-off for OBC and EWS students and 50% of the general category's cut-off for SC and ST students," the statement reads.
In the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2023, Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy, a candidate from the Hyderabad zone, received the top overall ranking in India.
Reddy received 341 out of a possible 360 points.
Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree, the exam's top-scoring female applicant, earned 298 points. Her all-India rank is 56, and she is a member of the IIT Hyderabad zone as well.
Notably, two each from the IIT Delhi and Roorkee zones and six of the top ten applicants that appeared on the common rank list are from the IIT Hyderabad zone.

This year, a total of 43773 students passed the difficult exam. There are 7509 female and 36264 male candidates among them. 180372 applicants appeared in both papers total.
