GUWAHATI, August 3: Touched by the plight of wildlife in flood-affected Kaziranga tiol Park (KNP) as telecast by a section of electronic media on August 2, the Upen Chandra Das Memorial Trust (UCDMT) came forward to adopt a rhino calf. In this regard, UCDMT president Nripen Das extended an ex gratia of Rs 3 lakh in favour of ‘Wild Life Trust India’ representative Dr. Rathin Barman (A/C No. 03291110000018) today through RTGS, a press release issued by the Trust said.
