According to reports, India Cricket all-rounder Yusuf Pathan had failed a dope test during a tourment last season, his five-month suspension will end on January 14 2018.
As per reports, urine sample of Pathan was collected on March 16 2017 in T-20 competition in New Delhi, after tested it was found to contain 'Terbutaline'.
Pathan was charged of violating Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) under the BCCI Anti-Doping Rules (ADR) Article 2.1 and provisiolly suspended on 27th October 2017, as reported.
BCCI also informed the state association not to pick Pathan after he failed the dope test, as reported. Pathan said that he took Cough Syrup Brozeet due to throat infection which has “Terbutaline” in it.The BCCI was satisfied with Pathan’s explation, as per reports.
Pathan also issued a statement in twitter where he thanked BCCI, his fans, team and family for having faith in him.
