CSIR-North East Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat invites job applications for the post of Electrician, Electronics Mechanic and more vacancies. Qualification Criteria for Electrician, Electronics Mechanic:

• SC/10thStd with Science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance or national/State trade certificate of 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institute in Mechanic Machine tool maintenance trade.
• ITI Certificate in Civil Engineer Assistant Trade or national/State trade certificate of 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institute in Civil Engineer Assistant trade.
• ITI Certificate Agro Processing trade or national/State trade certificate of 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institute in Agro-processing trade.
• ITI Certificate Computer Operator & Programming Assistant trade or national/State trade certificate of 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institute in Computer Operator & Programming Assistant trade.

Selection Process for CSIR NEIST Job Vacancy:

• Trade Test: SSC + ITI/ XII th Standard Level based on the advertised qualification of the post.
• Competitive Written Examination: Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination (English/Hindi), Total Questions - 150, Total Time allotted – 2 Hours 30 Minutes.
  
• Subject: Mental Ability Test [No negative marks]-No.of Questions-50-Maximum marks-100 [2 marks for every correct answer]
  
• Subject: General Awareness [One negative mark for every wrong answer],No.of Questions-25-Maximum marks-75 [2 marks for every correct answer]
  
• Subject: English Language [One negative mark for every wrong answer],No.of Questions-25-Maximum marks-75 [2 marks for every correct answer]
  
• Subject: Concerned Subject [One negative mark for every wrong answer],No.of Questions-50-Maximum marks-100 [2 marks for every correct answer]

Last Date of submission of online applications: 01.01.2021(upto 5 PM). Last Date of receipt of hard copy of the application print out: 08.01.2021, The hard copy (print-out) of the application should be accompanied by self attested copies of the relevant educational qualification, mark sheets, certificates in support of age, category, experience, caste etc wherever applicable.
