Educational Qualifications

Masters Degree with first class in the field of Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Ecology/ Landscape Ecology / Botany/ Life Sciences from a recognized University with a minimum of five years of research/field experience in a Protected Area or a research project related to wildlife

Graduation with first class in the field of Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Ecology/ Landscape Ecology / Botany/ Life Sciences from a recognized University with a minimum of two years of research/ field experience in a Protected Area or a research project related to wildlife.

Graduation in the field of Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Ecology/ Landscape Ecology / Geo-Informatics/ Botany/ Life Sciences/ Humanities/ Geography/ Geo-informatics from a recognized University having a good working knowledge of MS Office and minimum experience of six months of working in Government agencies or multilateral/ bilateral projects

Desirable Qualifications

Ph.D. in any of the aforementioned disciplines.

Masters Degree in any of the aforementioned disciplines

Masters in Geography or Post Graduate Diploma in Geo-informatics or working knowledge of Arc GIS, ERDAS, QGIS, etc.

Candidates, who are interested many along with the application in original in a format given in the detailed notice and the certificates in original in support of their educational qualification and experience, must report for interview at 11:00 AM on March 19 2021 at Mini Auditorium in Sylvan House, Lower Lachumiere, Shillong 793001 Meghalaya.

A scanned copy of the application in PDF format along with a copy of certificates in support of educational qualification and experience may be emailed at megwldb@gmail.com not later than 4:30 PM on 18th March 2021.

Selection Procedure for Biologist & Technical Assistant jobs:

A walk-in-interview will be conducted by the interview committee, constituted by CWLW on 19.03.2021. The selected candidates list will be posted on the official website of the Forest & Environment Department , Government of Meghalaya. The candidates shortlisted will be informed through their respective e-mails. The candidates need to join within 15 days from the given dates otherwise, the position will be offered to the other candidate in the order of the merit list.
