About NHM Meghalaya: The National Health Mission (NHM) was launched by the government of India in 2013 subsuming the National Rural Health Mission and National Urban Health Mission. It was further extended in March 2018, to continue until March 2020. It is headed by Mission Director and monitored by National Level Monitors appointed by the Government of India.
This Mission seeks to provide effective health care to the rural population, especially the disadvantaged groups including women and children, by improving access, enabling community ownership and demand for services, strengthening public health systems for efficient service delivery, enhancing equity and accountability and promoting decentralization.

DRTB Coordinator | To apply for the post of DRTB Coordinator at the National Health Mission (NHM) Meghalaya, the candidate should have done MBBS or equivalent degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India; must have completed rotatory internship. Desirable: Diploma/MD Public Health/ Community Health Administration (CHA)/ Tuberculosis & Chest diseases. Preference for candidates who have experience in PMDT. Work Experience: One-year working experience in NTEP. Working knowledge of Computers. |
