New Delhi: Domestic equity markets on Monday began trading in the green S&P BSE Sensex was above 59,600 after a rise of more than 500 points, while Nifty 50 was above 17,800.
Bank Nifty was up 0.62 percent above 39,300 points. Bharti Airtel and Tata Steel were the top gainers on Sensex, up more than 2 percent each. However, Nestle, Mahindra and Mahindra and Bajaj Finserv witnessed fall more than 1 percent each.
There is a great rise in bank and IT stocks. Metal and realty indices have also gained more than 1 percent on Nifty. Auto, Pharma and FMCG indices also witnessed gained. 22 stocks of 30 are up.
Notably, the initial public offering (IPO) Policybazaar and Paisabazaar.com has opened for investment today i.e. on November 1. This issue can be subscribed till November 3. PB Fintech plans to raise Rs 5710 crore through this IPO.
The company has fixed the price band for the issue at Rs 940-980. Apart from the issue of fresh equity shares in this issue, there will also be an offer for sale (OFS).
