Sensex witness a jump of 500 points, nifty touches 17,792

Shares of Kirloskar Elec, Best Agrolife, Sobha, Share India Sec and TheBykeHospitality, hit their fresh 52-week highs on National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Sensex on Thursday witnessed a strong start as it opened at 59,694 with a gain of 504 points.

Shares of Kirloskar Elec, Best Agrolife, Sobha, Share India Sec and TheBykeHospitality, hit their fresh 52-week highs on National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Titan which is favourite stock of Big Bull Rakesh Jhunjhunwala also witnessed a huge sale of its stocks. The share of TITAN rose 7.98 percent to Rs 2305.25 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The Sensex today opened at 59,694.39 with a gain of 504.66 points while the Nifty today gained 146.90 points at 17,792.90. 30 shares of BSE witness sale in all the stocks during the early trading. Apart from these, Benchmark NSE Nifty index touched 159.1 points.

However, stocks such as Quadpro ITeS Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low. In total, 42 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 traded in the red.

Shares of Tata Motors, Titan Company, Maruti Suzuki, M&M and Eicher Motors were among top gainers in the Nifty 50 index, shares of ONGC, Divis Labs, Cipla, Coal India Ltd and Britannia traded in the red.

Meanwhile, on the Singaporean Exchange, SGX Nifty is up 0.82 percent today, due to which the domestic market is showing signs of bullishness.

The focus will be on Reliance, Vodafone Idea, Airtel, Infosys, Zee Entertainment, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Titan, GAIL India, Power Grid and Lupin during the business today. The financial results of the BSE-listed Self Technologies and Integra Telecommunication & Software will be out today. At the end of trading on Wednesday, the Sensex fell by 555.15 points to 59,189.73 and the Nifty lost 193.50 points to close at 17,628.80.
