Recently, the Haryana Government has filed cases against 11 sanitizer brands after samples of them were collected across the state, and failed quality standards. It is a matter of grave concern because as an outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, people are using sanitizers and other such products on a large scale and hope it will save them. Some manufacturing companies have not followed the standard procedures and are putting people's lives in danger. The all state governments should establish a strong mechanism for quality checking of key medical supplies, such as ventilators, protective masks, goggles, sanitizers, rubbing alcohol, gloves, infra red thermometers, etc., and ensure that manufacturing companies will must follow the guidelines which are mandatory for good quality products.
