'Islamophobia'

To what vengeance has come for a lawyer to be brutally beaten by the law keepers for a misconception of his religion

Sentinel Digital Desk

To what vengeance has come for a lawyer to be brutally beaten by the law keepers for a misconception of his religion. "We beat you thinking you were a Muslim" was the exact speech of the policeman who had deliberately beaten up a lawyer.

To be assaulted on the basis of one's religion is what develops the fear of atrocities among religions. In this country of secularism, one was threatened for the misconception of his religion. Why has the audacity of the perpetrators not brought to the limit even after vigorous cases of reported inhumane deeds are registered every now and then in our society? Why is it casual news for everyone to just ignore the atrocious behaviour of one regarding another religion?

The plight of Islamophobia has not only crept into human minds but has also set a home in it. Don't we need to elevate our standards of thinking?
