Beauty is not skin deep

Dark people make fun of them and name them by nicknames like Kaliya, Amavasya etc. There are many people in this world whose body complexion is dark but their heart is beautiful and honest. 'Pritam' is a film released in Marathi with a story that starts with a village boy named Pritam. Pritam has a dark face. The villagers call Pritam by the nicknames Kaliya, Amavasya, Andhera etc. Pritam's father also doesn't look at him as he is dark. But Pritam is a very good boy. He helps everyone in times of distress. Pritam is a milk merchant doing his business nicely.

A beautiful girl named Suvarna comes to Pritam's village. Suvarna works in a bank. Suvarna's mother is a teacher who transferred as the principal of the school in Pritam's village school. Suvarna looks very beautiful. His friends, including Pritam, fell in love with Suvarna. Finally, Suvarna was attracted to Pritam's simplicity and announced that she would get married to Pritam, and they got married too. It may be recalled that some dialogues in the film have taught us a lot. In the film, Suvarna said, "If the world was running on the beautiful, people would not have worshipped the God of Black. People are attracted to black hair. We have started our first learning of life by writing in a black slate."

These dialogues have brought us many beautiful messages. In the end, it would be said that the film Pritam proved that even black boys can attract beautiful girls, and get married.

Tiranga Utsav

The Ministry of Culture honoured Pingali Venkaiah's 146th birthday on August 2nd with great fervour by hosting the "Tiranga Utsav" in honour of the designer of the Indian National Flag. A postal stamp honouring Pingali Venkaiah was released as part of the celebration. The release of the song and video for "Har Ghar Tiranga" was also the ideal moment. An attempt to give us the zeal and energy we need to celebrate India's heroic freedom war and 75 years of independence! To commemorate India's 75th anniversary of independence, the "Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign" asks people to hoist the tricolour from August 13 to 15.
