Slap on Pakistan

Pakistan might be over the moon after beating India in T20 world cup match because after a long time they have tasted some success in any sport. In all major sporting events, Pakistan is a failed nation who do not command respect from any other nation. While the Pakistanis were rejoicing the victory, bad news came to them. Their alley -- Turkey was included in FATF Grey List along with them. Last year, Turkish President Erdogan tried hard to bail out Pakistan from the 'FATF Grey List' though finally he failed to do so. Prime Minister Imran Khan acknowledging his effort, conferred Pakistan's second highest civil award -- the 'Hilal-e-Pakistan' to President Erdogan.
But this year, FATF included Turkey in the same bracket with Pakistan because FATF deemed Turkey to be a threat to global peace. Now, both the allies can talk freely about their future terrorism projects!

Certainly, it is a big slap on the face of Pakistan.

Green Diwali: Our Aim

During the Diwali festival, the use of huge amount of fire crackers and the resultant pollution may worsen the health of the population. As such, there is an urgent need to control air and sound pollution during this festival period. Of course, some of the States of our country have completly banned the sale and use of firecrackers. In Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced a ban on firecrackers by saying it was 'essential to save lives.' Like Delhi, other States of India such as Punjab, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Chhatisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh have also announced a blanket ban on the use and sale of firecrackers by keeping in mind the level of air pollution. In this way, our State government may also take such timely decisions to reduce the air pollution especially during the time of Diwali festival. No doubt, if we make the festival green and peaceful, it would be surely a boon for both mankind and our overall atmosphere.

We need peace

The news of the sudden eruption of violence at Tripura against a particular community as a protest of violence in Bangladesh is disturbing and painful, especially where the Ruling Party is B.J.P.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the tenure of B.J.P., there was no report of any communal violence in India. We cannot follow the footprints of Bangladesh. Though we have got every right to protest democratically but not by the means of violence disrupting the peace and tranquility.

I lodge a strong protest against such violence and urge the Government of Tripura to book the culprits and deal with them severely so that we can uphold the Constitutional mandate of India and maintain the secular fabric of the Nation.

Stop politics

over crime !

The NCB is investigating the cruise drugs case. But politics has started from this. The investigating agency should be allowed to do their job. However, the ruling party in Maharashtra is raising many questions on the NCB's investigation. Many questions from the public are pending. It is necessary to give time to solve it. The work of the investigating agency will be hampered. Such allegations are ongoing. Notably, a lot of time is being given to it. Political controversy is being given more importance than investigation. This benefits the guilty. If malpractices are to be eradicated from the society, how can the culprits be severely punished by gathering evidence against them? This needs to be addressed. Are efforts being made to save the culprits here? This a moot query now. The Central Investigation Agency is from India. Not from a foreign country. They are committed to punishing criminals by investigating the wrongdoings that are taking place in this country. Whether it is the ruling party or the opposition, they should refrain from expressing any opinion about the work of the investigating agency.

Live and let live

Very recently, I came across aNews in a national English TV channel that a leading Pakistani journalist requested our King Khan alias Shahrukh Khan to migrate to Pakistan with his family after his son Aryan Khan's misadventure in a rave party in a luxurious cruise. I as a bonafide citizen of the nation feel that the said journalist should also have invited the other people like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Javed Akhtar, Nasirrudin Shah, Sabana Azmi, Novjot Singh Sidhu, Mani Shankar Aiyyar and likes along with King Khan to migrate to Pakistan so that they can live peacefully and let us live peacefully in India.

Live and let live.
