Why do MLAs neglect public mandate?

The Congress-led Rajasthan Government has been facing problems to survive. In the past, governments in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh were also overturned in the same approach. Even, in Madhya Pradesh three Congress MLAs have resigned from the Assembly and joined the BJP in the last 15 days. People elected governments for a five-year tenure, but now governments are not capable of completing their tenures. The giant question arises here that why are MLAs being participating in the auctions of democracy? Are personal ambitions bigger than the aspirations of masses? The accountability of MLAs to their parties and the public is also questionable at present. Hope that all political parties and their MLAs respect the public mandate and work for the interest of masses.
