Mumbai: The much-awaited show, Mumbai Diaries 9/11, has finally hit the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video, and viewers have only nice things to say about the web series.

The web series had been released on Amazon Prime Video on September 9, 2021, and has a total of eight episodes.

The show has been directed and produced by Nikhil Advani and Nikhil Gonsalves and stars actress Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Natasha Bharadwaj, Satyajeet Dubey, Tina Desai, Prakash Belawadi and Indraneel Bhattacharya.

The show, Mumbai Diaries 9/11, revolves around a "crowded, chaotic and low-on-resources government hospital" where the victims of the 26/11 terror attack are continuously being brought in on the night of November 26.

The show seems to struggle with keeping up with too many sub-plots and backstories and many events in the story seems unnecessary, unnatural or forced.

However, the storytelling of the show is on point and never misses a beat.

The multi-starrer cast of the show have their own identities in the show and is not dependable on other characters in order to shine. Kaushik Oberoi, played by Mohit Raina, is a start surgeon who works hard but has a disregard for rules and regulations in the line of duty.

Bengali beauty and Bollywood actress Konkona Sen Sharma plays the character of Chitra Das, who is the social service director of the hospital and performs her job with full sincerity and seriousness. However, the memories of a bad marriage never seem to leave her mind.

Though a little slow-paced in the first few episodes, the web series gains momentum in the sixth episode when the terrorists strike the hospital. The action of the show keeps switching between the hospital and the hotel where the terror attack has taken place.

The show is packed with action and can keep viewers glued to the screen. Most importantly, it displays the lives of common people as it is in real life.

One should definitely give it a watch.
