Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda made her debut at the Paris Fashion Week. Proud mother Shweta Bachchan shared a glimpse of the event and penned a sweet note for her daughter.
Taking to Instagram, Shweta shared a video of Navya walking the ramp in a red dress. Sharing the video, she wrote, “Little miss L’Oréal.”
She also posted a series of pictures and videos featuring her, mother Jaya Bachchan and her daughter.
Shweta and Jaya Bachchan were seated in the audience watching Navya on the ramp walk.
Shweta also revealed that while Navya was busy with her preparations for the show, she and her mother roamed around in Paris.
Mother-daughter trio- Jaya, Shweta and Navya posed for the camera.
Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “All roads led to Paris this weekend. Well, at least for my mother & me. As Navya spent all her days doing L’Oréal things. My mother and I walked and ate (more eating than roaming to be honest) The show was an experience and so emotional - my mother and I both admitted to holding back tears as our little girl walked on all smiles !!! I remember her first steps she was just a few days past her 1st birthday - like yesterday, all parents say this I’m sure, it’s cheesy, and annoying, but so true. She wore red, the Eiffel Tower turned pink, and we went home very proud, very emotional, and very hungry. I snuck in some M&M’s in my bag, though it’s blasphemous to eat chocolate at a fashion show, we did - because we’re worth it ??”
As soon as the videos and pictures were uploaded, fans and industry members chimed in the comment section.
Neha Dhupia wrote, “Wow just wow …. My heart is smiling @shwetabachchan @navyananda.”
Zoya Akhtar posted, “NAVYA . I love you Shweta but your camera skills we need to discuss ??”
Navya is an entrepreneur, runs a women-centric health tech company and often posts about her work on social media.
She also hosted a podcast show ‘What the Hell Navya’ where her mother and grandmother Jaya Bachchan talked about various issues concerning women. (ANI)
