Annaatthe is an upcoming action-packed Tamil movie directed and written by Siruthai Siva with producer Kalanithi Maran. The star cast of the movie includes superstar Rajinikanth, Vela Ramamoorthy, Khushbu, Soori, Meena and Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Abhimanyu Singh, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj. Annaatthe has been titled Peddanna in Telugu.
The trailer of the movie was released on Wednesday, 27 October and the movie is all set to hit theatres during the festival of Diwali on 4 November 2021. The action movie is ready to entertain the fans with the acting of superstar Rajinikanth in a rural setup. The trailer has already gained much love and attention from viewers because of the power-packed action scenes by Rajinikanth.
In the movie Annaatthe actor, Rajinikanth will appear as the head of a village panchayat. He plays the role of a much-adored brother to the character of Keerthy Suresh, his sister. The film shows the bond between brother and sister it mainly focuses on the loving and protective nature of a brother who saves his sister from every hurdle. Rajinikanth as Kaalaiyan is paired romantically with actress Nayanthara who is the female lead in the film.
Kaalaiyan is loved by everyone in the village and lives peacefully with his family unless and until goon enters into their family and creates trouble. Their life gets disrupted after the entry of goons in the village and then the film becomes a journey of revenge by Kaalaiyan as he turned out from being a family man to angry. The story of the film revolves around the environment of a village however some important parts took place in Kolkata. In the trailer, it shows a glimpse of Abhimanyu Singh, Jagapathi Babu, and Prakash Raj as antagonists.
