The latest crime thriller film Bob Biswas directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh starring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role has been released on Friday 3 December. IMDb rating of the film is 7.7/10. The story of the film is written by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.

Other than Abhishek Bachchan the film cast Samara Tijori, Paran Bandopadhyay, Chitrangada Singh, Indira Verma and Ronith Arora. Bob Biswas serves as a spin-off to Kahaani, a 2012 thriller movie.

Bob Biswas essayed by Indian actor Saswata Chatterjee in a 2012 thriller film directed by Sujoy Ghosh and headlined by Vidya Balan is still remembered by fans even after a decade of the film's release. The story of Bob Biswas revolves around Abhishek Bachchan as Bob Biswas shows him as a personification of venom. He is one who never regrets what he does whether it's good or bad.

Bob Biswas then slipped into a coma after a terrible accident after which he lost his memory and all these instances build sympathy for the character. Chitrangada Singh plays the role of Biswas's wife named Mary Biswas and they have a two children son named Benny played by Ronith Arora and a daughter named Mini played by Samara Tijori.

Mini seems to prepare for getting a seat in the medical course but her neighbor distracted her mind every night plating musical instruments who don't care about anybody and does whatever he wants to do. Bob remains clueless about his identity and in one scene carried bullets and guns instead of medicine. He is handed a photograph of a person he is to kill and went on to the mission.

Abhishek however fails to match the devil attitude of Bob in Kahaani though shines well in his character. The screenplay in the film is well presented and the Cinematography in the film by Gairik Sarkar also made the film worth watching.
