Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut received rape threats on Facebook from a lawyer from Odisha. However, the lawyer later deleted his account and claimed that it was hacked. Currently, she is in her hometown Manali and is yet to respond to the issue.

The comment of the lawyer was found in the comments to a post by Kangana, where she shared her pictures from the celebrations of Navratri.

Kangana wrote, "Who all are fasting on Navratris? Pictures clicked from today's celebrations as I am also fasting, meanwhile another FIR filed against me, Pappu Sena in Maharashtra seems to be obsessing over me, don't miss me so much I will be there soon #Navratri."

However, the lawyer, through whose account the comment was made, later posted that his account was hacked in the evening. The derogatory comments were not posted by him and those are not his views regarding women or any community. He apologised to the public and asked everyone to accept his apology. He subsequently deleted his Facebook account.

Kangana has been recently vocal about various issues connected with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and the Bollywood film industry. On the orders of a local court, the Mumbai Police on Saturday lodged an FIR against Kangana and her sister, Rangoli Chandel for allegedly promoting enmity between different communities.
